Kip Blackston

 Kip Blackston, born Jeremy Jarry, is an African American rapper, songwriter, record executive, entrepreneur, businessman, and record producer and CEO of J.E.D.I Music Group. Blackston was born in Lynchburg, Va in July 1990 to Sherman Edwards (American)and Juanita Jarry-Smith(Liberia, Africa) Growing up, Blackston was raised by his Mom and Grandmother after his parents separated but would visit his father on weekends. Blackston had a passion for music as early as 8 years old when his older brother taught him how to write song that continued on into his adulthood. After a 2 year prison stint, Blackston decided to get into the business side of music and establish  J.E.D.I Music Group along with his cousin and artist Kid Bless.
